Ardent Concepts, Inc. (“Ardent”) announced that it has been acquired by Amphenol Corporation (“Amphenol”). This transaction is the successful culmination of an initiative led by Peloton Advisory LLC to identify the best partner to accelerate Ardent’s leadership position in the Signal Integrity marketplace for electronic interconnects.
Ardent, headquartered in Hampton, New Hampshire, is a designer and manufacturer of proprietary, high frequency, solderless interface products that enable the next generation of signal critical applications. Founded in 2003, Ardent generates 100% of its revenue from over 20 patents that surround its core technology: the smallest, fastest, most electrically efficient compression mount connector technology in the world. Ardent’s connector products can be found on the Joint Strike Fighter, in quantum computers and in numerous semiconductor ATE devices, among other high frequency applications.
